We’d rather you understand this clearly now than feel misled later. Four things:

It opens at 500 active subscribers. We publish that number so you can hold us to it — and so you can decide whether the wait is worth it.

Founding isn’t free forever

$0 now. When the Directory opens, you begin paying the locked $97/month rate. What you’re locking is the price and the slot — not a free listing.

We guarantee placement, not results

No promise of leads, clients, or revenue. If our audience is smaller than you need, this may not be right for you yet. Ask us the number — we’ll tell you.

We’re selective, and we remove people

5 paid slots per category, ever. Ignore members, misrepresent your services, or misuse member data and you’re out — with no refund.

Listing services you don’t provide is grounds for removal.

Fit

This is the part we weigh most heavily.
Our members are solo founders and early-stage owners. If your practice is built around larger clients, we’d rather know now.
We’re not policing your pricing. We’re checking whether our members can afford you.
A situation that will happen

“A member contacts you about a job that’s noticeably smaller than your usual minimum. It’s real work, but it’s not worth much to you. What do you actually do?”

There is no trick here, and “I’d politely decline and point them somewhere useful” is a perfectly good answer. What we’re screening out is people who’d ignore the member, or take the job and resent it. 100–250 words.

Responsiveness

An unanswered listing is worse for members than no listing at all.

Affiliate program

Optional, but it’s how Founding Sponsors earn before the Directory opens.

We vet every applicant — real business, honest listing, willingness to serve small clients well. 5–7 business days.

If it’s a fit, a short call. Ask us our subscriber count — we’ll tell you honestly, and you can decide from there.

You’re reserved

Your slot is held, your rate is locked, and your affiliate link goes live. You pay nothing.

We hit 500

The Directory opens, your listing goes live, and billing begins at your locked $97/month.
